TapResearch does not collect personal identifying information (PII) from respondents (name, email, address, etc), but you may ask these questions in your survey. Follow these steps ensure the respondent has agreed to give this information!

80% of our respondents have never been on a traditional panel and aren't familiar with why PII is collected. They tend to abandon at higher rates when asked for PII. Having a statement about why you are collecting this information and what it will be used for can lower abandon rates.

PII Targeting

If you wish to ask personal information, be sure to include this in your targeting. This will match respondents who have already agreed to share PII.

These targeting options can be found in the "Recruitment" section:

TapResearch does not allow any sales or lead generation on our platform. Our respondents should only be surveyed and contacted for research purposes. This information is included and agreed upon in the MSA contract when you created an account.
